I could barely make out the date code on this one, but it started with MB0....so all i can tell is that this bag was produced in France.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe exterior canvas is in great shape.  I've cleaned and polished the zipper, but it still has a tiny bit of tarnish. I've added gold D-ring connectors to each side which allows you to attach the 40\" vachetta leather strap, which means this bag will sit a little higher on your body.  I\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e've also added a decorative \"LV-like\" chain to the D-rings which gives the bag a fun flair. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag.
