The top edges of the bag have been stitched \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eby hand \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003ewith a whiskey colored leather lace.  The zipper works great, but the pull tab was damaged, so I've removed and replaced it with a brass tab. I've added brass D-rings to the back  to attach the matching whiskey colored adjustable leather strap that is \u003cspan\u003e39-48''\u003c\/span\u003e long.  It is perfect to wear crossbody. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag.
