The Friar Crossbody in Damier Ebene

This beautiful bag was created from a gorgeous Louis Vuitton Damier Pimlico bag!! And, who knew that Pimlico means the Friar Elveracollection??

This bag was in really good condition, but the straps had broken off.  Normally they are sewn on the back, but I carefully removed them, leaving tiny sewing-holes that are barely seen (see pics).  I've added brandy-colored braiding to the flap, brass D-rings to the sides, and a dark brown braided leather strap.  The 6-strand leather strap is flat where it sits across your body, and round towards the clasp.  It is 47" long and has a small amount of fringe that can be trimmed down if desired.  If you need the strap longer or shorter, please reach out and I can adjust the length.

The red interior was thoroughly cleaned, but a few stains remain (see pics). This bag is W7.5 x H7 x D1" and is sure to be your next favorite bag!!
