The Grebe Document Holder in Monogram

This beautiful document/laptop bag was created from a Louis Vuitton Monogram Poche Ministre Document Case.  This is the older model (LVB7985) and didn't come with the Louis Vuitton stamp or serial number.  It's in great condition, and now more usable with a crossbody strap. You'll be going to work in STYLE, I promise!!

This is a larger crossbody (W14.6 x H11 x D0.8") that has a flap which has been embellished with brown leather lace stitching.  The interior was thoroughly cleaned, but there are a few scratches and few pen marks (see piVS), but no tears.  The interior leather did lift a little when I punched holes in for the lacing, but I did secure it down with leather glue, so it should stay put!!

The interior has two envelope pockets that will easily fit a thin laptop.  One of the pockets has a zipper pocket as well.  The flap closes by tucking the strap into the loop.  There were no handles on this bag, so I've added D-rings to the back and have added a 49" crossbody 6-strand braided brown leather strap.  It flat where it sits across your body, and round towards the clasp.  It has a small amount of fringe that can be trimmed down if desired.  The hardware on this bag is brass.
