The Peacock -CS Monogram Hobo in Black Crossbody

This Elveracollection was created from an larger LV Saumur bag, and was fashioned into a hobo tote!  It's got enough room for ALL of your essentials, coming in at 12" wide by 6.25" tall.  

This one-of-a-kind piece is gorgeous in black!  The "Louis Vuitton " leather patch on the front has been dyed black, and I added black leather braiding to the outside edges which have been stitched by hand.  All of the hardware is brass coated with Black PVD (see below).  There is a black snap that helps keep all of your items secure.  There are no interior pockets.  The 49" strap is a a black leather crossbody strap that is 6-strands of braided leather that is flat where it lays across your body, and then moves to round towards the carabiner clasp.

What is Black PVD :
PVD means Physical Vapor Deposition. It is a highly accurate plating process carried out in high vacuum environments at temperatures between 150 and 500 *C. It produces an EXTREMELY durable finish to prevent scratching. Typically, black hardware that is found in the marketplace is not PVD, and is generally considered a black spray paint causing it to chip and scratch off within days. PVD plating is the process used to plate high end watch hardware, golf clubs, etc., and the only successful way to make a black that will not wear off.
